You are not the problem. There is a reason you know exactly how you want to mother... and still find yourself yelling, snapping, shutting down or reacting in ways you regret when everything becomes too much.

You Know Better!

You love your kids. You promised yourself you wouldn't parent this way. So WHY does this keep happening?

Do you feel like time is slipping through your fingers while you’re struggling to be the mom you always dreamed of being? The one that could keep her calm even in stressful situations? And now every day life is choking you while you're trying to leave the house on time, your house is a mess, you can’t remember when you last felt connected to your partner and you’re falling behind at work.

Deep down you know there is something wrong but you keep second guessing your every move. For the first time in your life you don’t really know how to fix it. It seems to be so easy for others. You longed for life to be more, to provide your kids with a happy family home full of love and joy. And now, with every bad mood, every snap, every shutting down of their wildness, you feel like you are failing your own kids.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

There is nothing shameful about the fact that this is so darn hard… your reactions did not appear out of nowhere. And they are absolutely NOT proof that you are a bad mother. They make sense when you understand what has been happening underneath them.

And once you understand the pattern, you can begin changing it.

You want patience made of titanium, not crumbling concrete.

You long for it to be easy and fun. You miss having the energy for a good time. You want to be the mom that is present, has time, answers from a place of love. You want to feel replenished in a way sleep doesn’t seem to give you anymore. You want patience made of titanium not crumbling concrete.

You feel like you just need the house to be organized, your kids to enjoy sitting at the table chatting over dinner, your husband to KNOW what you need without having to ask and then it would all work out. You wish you were Mary Poppins with a corporate job... and time for a romantic partner.

Most of all you just want to help your kids grow into the best version of themselves possible.

You want to be able to hear another “Mommmm!” without feeling something inside you snap and unleash without your control…. You want to leave the house without the hallway turning into a battleground. To hold a boundary without yelling. To disagree with your partner without everything inside you going into defense. You want to know what you think before automatically looking around for someone else's approval.

And when a hard moment happens… because hard moments will still happen… you want to remain yourself inside it. Not perfectly calm or endlessly patient but fully YOU while staying connected… able to CHOOSE what happens next…

It's time for you to grow into this new role with grace. To hold your space with integrity, unapologetically. To know what you are doing, to feel in control without being controlling. To hold that safe loving space for your kids all the time, not just when you are calm but where you rise to the occasion and are at your best during the most intense family moments... because that's when your kids need you the most.

It is time for you to step into the new version of you that holds all this. The version of mother where you will cherish the loving perfectly imperfect chaos that is motherhood. Don’t let the 20 % that feel bad ruin the 80 % that are magical.

If you're recognizing yourself in this, you don't need to decide anything about your entire future today… You can simply start by exploring whether this is the kind of support you've been looking for…

My Story...

I longed for children so much.. and when I became a mother I was completely absorbed. Breast-feeding, co-sleeping, close contact... giving them my all. I read every book, researched every decision. We were such a happy family... until I started getting triggered... stress, overwhelm, running late, my son pushing my daughter...

Suddenly I was far from the mother I had pictured myself being... and it kept happening.

Then, when my daughter turned two... looking at her I suddenly realized... there was nothing she could ever do to deserve any kind of abuse. And my own childhood abuse that I had pushed to the depths of my psyche... it all came back to me. I had always accepted the fact that it had all been my fault and my most important secret to keep.

And suddenly, looking at my daughter... I realized how I had been mistaken.

I started having flashbacks, anxiety attacks. I caught myself yelling words I hadn’t heard since my dad yelled them at me. Shouting, even yanking. Once, I punched the pillow beside my sons face. I checked myself into therapy the next day.

Knowing better wasn't enough to change my behavior...

Therapy helped in a lot of ways. It dealt with a lot of my anxiety and panic attacks. However... it didn’t help with the everyday stress and yelling... Leaving the house on time, family visits, holidays... I just couldn’t do it without losing my shit.

One particularly painful memory is when my son went back into the living room with his dirty boots because he had forgotten a toy he wanted to take with him. He was two years old.

I "woke up" in the middle of standing beside him on the carpet in my dirty shoes yelling at the top of my lungs how disrespectful he was being.

And even though I was aware of how stupid it was, I couldn’t stop my yelling... what I feel most ashamed about is that my greatest worry was what the neighbors might think...

I realized something that changed everything for me...

My parents did a lot of great things and were wonderful people in many ways. However, as soon as the situation was dire or stressful, all love just went out the window. There was yelling, threats, even physical abuse. Just because we were late, or hungry or somebody was car-sick. I remember one of the more nasty fights with my dad where he had punched me, he suddenly exclaimed:

"This is just the way I am".

It was deeply hurtful at the time... that even if it meant hurting me... he wouldn’t consider changing his behavior. This memory is one of the main drivers behind why I was so determined to change... and it also made me realize something that changed everything for me.

I could have compassion for why my patterns existed without pretending they weren’t affecting the people I loved.

Understanding myself wasn’t an excuse not to change... but it was what finally made change possible for me. To not keep carrying on in the same dysfunctional ways my parents did.

My husband kept telling me that everyone yells at their kids. That it was nothing to worry about... But I refused to live that truth. I am so glad I kept going, determined to find a solution.

I WAS going to be better mom. A mom that didn't pass on my hurt and generational patterns. And in the end, after a lot of investment in personal development programs, parenting courses and deep deep coaching sessions, I pieced together a combination of things that worked. And I strongly believe that this change is possible for anyone who truly wants to change.

My inner work completely changed my life...

As my relationships with myself, my children and husband deepened, as I stopped being obsessed with all that was wrong with me... I slowly realized I could not keep on living the same life as before... I longed to show others that they can change too.

That there is an easy and fun way out of our patterns. It is possible to care for ourselves AND be the mom we always wanted to be...

It is possible to raise kind, loving, confident children without yelling... It is possible to change the dynamics and conflicts in your family to healthy ones, where everyone feels seen and heard and you still get things done.

I took the most valuable and effective learnings from my journey and combined them into a Motherhood Mentorship I have not seen anywhere else, and that is the Mentorship I wish had existed for me.

My vision is a world where no mother feels guilty for showing up every day doing her best, because she feels it is not enough... My vision is for you to learn how to repattern your inner world, your thoughts, your automatic reactions... How to hear your inner knowing from within your own body, how to access that deep wisdom in yourself. I want for you to become so sure of your own ways that you no longer outsource your authority to those around you. Standing strong in your leadership as a mother.

If something in you has been quietly recognizing itself as you've read this, I created the

Return of the Queen

for women standing in this exact place.

Become the mother you always wanted to be... not the one your patterning is making you.

1. Understand what takes over

Identify the patterns beneath your yelling, shutting down, resentment, over-giving and overwhelm - so your reactions stop feeling random and uncontrollable.

2. Work with your deeper patterns

Through private sessions explore the beliefs, memories, inner parts and protective responses that are still influence how you react today.

3. respond differently where it actually matters

Use practical and in the moment tools during mornings, meltdowns, bedtime routines, conflict and overstimulation - not only afterward when everything is calm and the guilt creeps in.

 4. Build your inner authority

So you know how to recognize your own needs, communicate clearly, set boundaries and stop automatically assuming everyone else knows better.

5. Become the mother without losing the woman within

Create a version of motherhood where care doesn’t require self-erasure, where your children can remain children and where you still get to exist as a full human being as the amazing woman you are.

Included: 12 weeks of deep 1:1 coaching.

+ individual support through voice message or chat between sessions
+ self-paced lessons, inner journeys and tools

Monica Innes

I had the opportunity to work with Maike for around three months, and it was a truly valuable experience. As a trauma-informed coach, she brought a level of presence that made it easy for me to feel safe and supported from the very beginning.

What stood out most was her intuition—she had a remarkable ability to sense what I needed, even when I struggled to express it myself. Maike helped me by asking the right questions and created space for anything that came up. She helped me gain more understanding of my feelings towards my parents and finally move forward with peace.

Her professional yet warm approach allowed me to explore difficult emotions without feeling overwhelmed. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking trauma-informed support on their journey.

Thanks Maike:)

I'm so glad I sought help from Maike! She has helped me face the mental blocks that held me back for years. Thanks to the trauma therapy, I've been able to let go of old "truths" and move forward.

Maike had a very kind way about her as she guided me through past traumas that had become "truths." She supports you when things get hard, listens, and explains clearly what is happening when it's difficult. Thanks to Maike, I've found my inner safe place and been able to release old things that had haunted me for a long time.

Jana

When I began working with Maike, I had reached a real low point in my life. I could see my patterns clearly - fear of rejection, fear of abandonment - and I kept shapeshifting into who I thought I needed to be in order to be loved. But it was never enough.

I had already been practicing yoga, mindfulness, and self-healing for years, and I knew on some level that I was enough. But I couldn’t embody it. I couldn’t hold it when life tested me. What I longed for was to finally feel whole in myself — not suppressing my needs, not bending myself out of shape — but truly living authentically.

Working with Maike changed everything. With her loving guidance, we uncovered the deep beliefs from childhood that had been running my life. And together, we were able to release them. The anxiety and pressure in my chest lifted. For the first time, I felt whole on my own -- it's hard to put the feeling into words.

The shifts in my life were immediate. My relationships began to change. Even when bad things happen, I can feel the sadness without collapsing into despair. I no longer make myself smaller or twist myself to be loved. Instead, I trust that I am worthy of love just as I am - and that the right people will meet me there.

Maike’s work gave me the transformation I had been searching for, for years. If you’re ready to finally let go of the patterns that keep you stuck and discover your true worth, I cannot recommend her enough.

Anna

Working with Maike was an exceptional experience for me. She is an extremely intelligent, perceptive, and sensitive Woman – a unique combination of an analytical mind, deep emotional awareness, and an artistic Soul. Her way of thinking is fast, comprehensive, and insightful, yet always filled with gentleness and empathy.

During our work together, I felt safe and fully supported. Following her voice and guidance, I had the sense of going deeper and deeper within myself, while Maike, with her characteristic subtlety, gently accompanied me on that inner journey. Her observations and questions are precise, almost “laser-like,” yet always kind and respectful.

I also had the opportunity to observe Maike as a student – deeply engaged, curious, and open to her own growth.
She is a person of exceptional intelligence, empathy, and attentiveness, who beautifully combines the power of the mind with the depth of empathy in her work.
I highly recommend working with Maike to anyone seeking an authentic, empathetic, and deeply attentive guide on their personal inner development journey.

It can be painful going into deep emotional states, but the sessions with Maike make me understand how valuable it is (and necessary) to let me have those experiences. I feel completely safe with her. Her loving presence guides me into those moments when as a child I have felt alone, unseen, unloved. She helps me feel this pain instead of escaping in my mind and abandoning myself in this moment. She helps me uncover my true, vulnerable and strong self - the one that has been forgotten. These moments are magical, and they resonate long after the session when I reconnect with my inner children to understand myself on increasingly deeper levels.

The reparenting helps me to grow as an adult as well, to be more of myself. Maike is an amazing guide, very gentle in her approach, and firm, too. When she feels there is more to look at, she will guide me there; she will ask the perfect questions and give me the space to explore my inner landscape.
